Thakrtho 2.0 (Onam 2023)

Every year, Srinivas University Institute Engineering Technology, Mukka (SUIET) hosts a vibrant and culturally rich Onam celebration, bringing the spirit of Kerala's harvest festival to our campus. This event showcases the diversity of our student body and fosters a sense of unity and togetherness among students from all backgrounds.
 

Major elements that we offer:

Cultural Extravaganza: The Onam celebration at SUIET is a cultural extravaganza featuring traditional Kerala dance forms like Kathakali and Mohiniyattam. Students and staff come together to perform and enjoy these captivating performances.

Floral Decorations: The college premises are adorned with intricate and colorful flower rangoli (Pookalam) designs, creating a festive atmosphere that reflects the spirit of Onam.

Traditional Attire: Students and faculty members dress in traditional Kerala attire, with men wearing Mundu and women donning Kasavu sarees. This adds authenticity to the celebration.

Games and Competitions: Onam wouldn't be complete without traditional games like tug-of-war and coconut tree climbing. These games foster friendly competition and team spirit among students.

 Unity and Inclusivity: The Onam celebration at SUIET promotes unity and inclusivity by bringing together students from different regions and cultures to celebrate the diversity that makes our college unique.
